I was really feelin' the cat lady dear at the San Francisco Union Square H&M store yesterday, where I was perusing the maternity department, just it was difficult to concentrate considering I kept getting distracted by things like this adorable outfit with a navy blue top and tiny short-shorts.

Information technology has cats all OVER it!

Wait at it styled on this mannequin with a taupe purse and black booties (the moving-picture show at the top). If I wasn't so round at the moment, I'd be all over it.

They besides had a white short-sleeve tee with a little pocket in the same print, but the fabric felt a little scratchy.

Super cute though.

Eventually, I focussed long enough in the maternity section to detect this…

A pair of gray Mama Skinny Jeans ($39). (Yup, they make maternity skinnies! Who knew?!). I also got this stretchy Jersey Summit ($12.99) (91% cotton wool, 6% rayon, 3% spandex).

I'thousand so glad I tried the top on considering I wasn't into the stripes when I saw it online.

I dunno why, but horizontal stripes are e'er up in the mix with motherhood clothes, and I'm not always into them, merely this piece felt really soft so I tried it on.

And I'm glad I did. I effigy that I tin always switch it upwardly by layering information technology with scarves, boyfriend sweaters, flannels and argument necklaces.

Couple things virtually H&M's motherhood stuff… Their tops fit truthful to size on me, so I didn't accept to size upward or down. As for the denim, I'd get upwardly i or two sizes because the hips are very slim, and if you find something yous like, you might want to try multiple pieces in the same style and size, because the fit is all over the place! No 2 of the same size are alike.

Oh, for the record, there is a dire lack of cat-themed article of clothing for pregnant chicks, in case you were wondering. I did strike true cat lady gold in the children'due south section, though. Actually, "Cat Lady in Training" golden. There are Then many cute cat-themed clothes for piddling girls and babies, and I would totally article of clothing well-nigh of them if they were available in adult size.

Similar these shorts? If these shorts came in developed size, I'd be all over 'em.

Or these dresses…

This little grayness clothes with the colorful cat heads, tho!! I call up I may have seen an adult wearing something like this once… Not a child, mind yous, but a full-grown woman.

I'm very excited about the prospect of dressing upward a certain someone who's going to exist making her big debut in March. 🙂

I merely got Baby Girl one affair in the store, but I actually WANTED to get this coat with the cat pockets. El Hub was like, "She'southward not going to be old enough to wear it for a year. Why get it now?" so I set information technology down…which fabricated me a little sorry. 🙁
